About Us
The Oncology Multidisciplinary Board is an elite team consisting of seven experienced professionals. Our members are leading experts in various fields of oncology, including surgical oncology, radiation oncology, medical oncology, and pathology. This diverse experience allows us to view oncological challenges from a complex perspective and develop innovative approaches for cancer treatment and prevention.
Established in 2023, our board represents the flagship of oncology development in Georgia. We are proud to be a bridge between the local medical community and international oncology circles.

Our Mission
Our mission is to be a catalyst for change in the medical field, especially in oncology, to participate in various forms of continuing medical education (CME) through their preparation and implementation; to promote the development of the medical field, especially oncology, in Georgia. We work to:
1] Establish/implement new and/or international standards in medical fields, especially in oncology;
2] Implement and/or deepen international cooperation in medical fields, especially in oncology;
3] Engage in existing projects in medical fields, especially in oncology;
4] Implement and engage in educational and/or scientific activities in medical fields, especially in oncology;
5] Organize or participate in the organization of conferences, seminars, trainings, and other events in medical fields, especially in oncology;
6] Develop/update national clinical practice guidelines and state standards for clinical condition management (protocols) in oncology, including in priority areas defined by the ministry;
7] Prepare documents/amendments defining professional competencies for medical specialties,

Our Work
Our board carries out the following activities:
- We organize and participate in conferences, seminars, trainings, and other events in the field of oncology.
- We work on the development and updating of national clinical practice guidelines and state standards for clinical condition management (protocols).
- We prepare documents defining professional competencies for medical specialties and their amendments
Our goal is to be a leading force in the advancement of oncology in Georgia, to ensure high-quality medical education, and to promote the implementation of international standards in our country.
